St James Catholic Church, Sava, a mission Land of Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish Ho Bankoe celebrates her 10yrs anniversary which was climaxed with a Thanksgiving Mass presided over by Most Rev Emmanuel Kofi Fianu S V D Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ho and concelebrated with Rev Fr David Zatey and Rev Fr Jeremiah Ankutsitsia.
Bishop Fianu eulogied the forbears who started the foundation of the church community and pray for the repose of the souls who have passed to Glory.
As the 10th Anniversary coincides with the the Word of God Sunday the Bishop entreat all Catholic faithful to meditate on the word of God in every Eucharistic celebration in order to deepen their appreciation and love for God. The Bishop Also use the occasion to appeal to the leaders of the church community to focus on Christ to avoid tension and hatred due to different leaders in community.
The Church community later cut the anniversary cake in a symbolic style to mark the day.
